Zwölf Duette für zwei Violoncelli

„The Twelve Duets are concentrated miniatures for playing together in cello lessons, in the tradition of Kummer, Lee, or Reinagle. Each piece begins with a catchy tonal idea, which is immediately expanded chromatically. This fosters both flexibility in hand position and initial steps in playing in different positions. An additional Ossia variation demonstrates how the simple material can be virtuously embellished."
