Description
"A subtly crafted duo of two instrumental parts barbed tightly together. Continuous uniform texture with small-cell rhythms. Notated traditionally, more difficult for guitar than for 'cello. Balakauskas, leading Lithuanian composer and from 1992 to 1994 ambassador in Paris, is a master of rhythmic and melodic differentiation."
Max Nyffeler, neue musikzeitung, October 2011
