Entr'acte

Entr'acte was composed in December 2017 by Patrick Pföß and is dedicated to Swantje Wittenhagen. It has always been regarded as a big challenge to write a piece for harp solo, which is well playable and meets the demand for a modern musical language at the same time. Pföß approached this challenge with a reduction of musical material. The four elements harmonics, glissando, silence and bisbigliando are used in different ways and generate a sensual sounding composition.
