autopoiesis

The word „autopoiesis" is normally used to describe organic life-forms. But the picture of "reproducing from itself" has also been, positively, used in the context of philosophy and music. In this composition, the autopoiesis turns to a rather negative, out of control process which even scares the composer himself and, in the end, culminates to an obliteration of the music material.
